When to pick the last of the tomatoes & cukes?

We're in NW DC. I have some tomatoes and a few cucumbers still left in our garden. When do iI have the pick them all and let the tomatoes ripen inside? They're still mpstly green.

I'd wait until next weekend.

I picked the last of the tomatoes, and pulled out the plants, over the weekend. I want to use the long weekend to get the garden ready for winter (need to fix a raised bed, empty pots, etc). If you're not doing stuff like that, you can let them go until first frost.

Pick the green tomatoes, get box and fill with crumpled newspaper, put lid on and they will slowly ripen.
