New to Breaking Bad (3 episodes into season 1)

The show makes me seriously uncomfortable and anxious. For the record, I've watched Deadwood, the Wire, the Sopranos and did not feel the same way. Anyone else? Will I get over this? (PLEASE DON"T POST SPOILERS!)

I didn't like it, either, and I like most all of the HBO/Showtime/Netflix series. I stopped watching after 4 or 5 episodes.

I was the same way, kept watching, got obsessed.

I was the same way about walking dead at the beginning.

I was the same way and I stopped watching midway thru Season 2.

I was the same way and quit early in season two. I hated it.

It gets pretty much more intense. And the three main characters stay the same ones. So If you are not loving Mr White, Pinkman, and Skylar, things do not get much better. I loved it, but that's just me.

I saw one later episode and it looked like a glorification of drug culture, and I thought WTF are we coming to in this country?
Then I watched it from the beginning and I actually like the characters. They are interesting and complex.
But, I have not ventured past season 2 yet, so I think I won't like it soon.

I am also three episodes in to the 1st season, but I love it. Darker, edgy shows just hold more appeal for me. Though the scene of them cleaning up the body "sludge" had me almost gagging. At any rate, I'm riveted and want to know what's going to happen next. Poor Walter.

It doesn't become easier to watch, but the opposite.

The first season was tongue in cheek and rather darkly humorous. A little campy as well.

Gets more and more interesting, in my view. Absolutely loved it when Gus Frain entered the picture.

I gave up after the first season, it was too intense for me. I was totally anxious watching it.

I stopped at episode 6ish. I was always anxious and couldn't love the characters. I loved Dexter, so I'm not sure why this one bothered me so much.

Doesn't get easier. I don't handle intense well but I made an effort and do not regret. It IS the best drama show I've watched.
