Farewell song for video for co-worker?

Anonymous
A beloved co-worker is being involuntarily transferred to another job site, and about 50 of us are contributing photos and short video clips to what will be about a 6 minute slide show/video. There will be two songs playing in the background.

One organizer wants "Roar" by Katy Perry and "Good Riddance" (I hope you had the time of your life) by Green Day. I loathe the Green Day song, so I'm trying to think of a better replacement. Would love any ideas any of you would be willing to share!

FWIW, the person works in human services with a special needs population, and she is beloved and dedicated to her clients, so something kind of mushy would be appropriate, but we'd also like it to be upbeat if possible.

Thanks, DCUM musical brains!

What I did for Love from a Chorus Line, but you'd have to check the lyrics and mood to see if it fits your occasion.

PP here. I will add.....I think "Firework" is a better choice than "Roar."

I used to like this song as a child but it is quite religious for a work environment, no?

"Friend are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them" and all
