I have a tree in my front yard that I am considering taking down. It is right in the middle of the yard, not far from the front door, therefore blocks the front center of the house. The tree needs to be pruned and this is how I found out it is a cherry tree. What are the chances this is a fruit bearing tree? Are some cherry trees just like a plain old tree?
FWIW, I currently rent out this house and plan to move into it in a few years. I live out of the area and have only seen the house one time and did not pay much attention to the tree.
