Sq foot gardeners ?

I started my first square foot garden this year. I am excited, but a little confused on watering. I read the book and it isn't really all that specific on how many times a week one should water. So I am just curious about what people in this region do.

I am growing tomatoes, squash, cantaloupe, cucumber, peppers, strawberries, and herbs if that is important.

It depends on how much rain we get. I water if we do not get at least one inch in a week. I water once a week.

Okay thank you! If you have an containers do you water those more often or still once a week?

Containers every other day until the temp hits about 82-83, then every day. If it is really hot and dry, sometimes twice a day.

My raised beds I water 2x per week unless it is a wet week, then once. I use a soaker hose on a timer, so the water gets right to the roots.
