Anyone use a pet moving service cross country

We are relocating to the West Coast this summer. Normally, we take our border collie on the plane with us for cross country moves. However, we are thinking about heading to Disney for a week while our stuff is in transit. We also have 3 little kids under 5 and are trying to minimize our flying time. So, has anyone ever used a pet transportation company? DH's sister is in Seattle and she can accept the dog before our arrival. If so, how much did it cost?

I was just wondering myself. We are also moving west this summer. I would send the dogs on a plane but it will probably be too hot.

You are correct, it will be too hot. Don't do it even if the airline allows it. They don't care about your pet.
