5 month-old puppy destroyed a "kong extreme" toy in 1 day

Can anyone recommend a chew toy that might survive? Want to stop her from chewing on what she shouldn't. Thanks!

There is not a toy out there that my dog won't destroy (including kongs). We've resorted to nylabones which aren't his favorite but at least last more than 45 minutes.

sometimes you can find extra large boiled animal bones at petco or petsmart -- only thing that kept my dog happy and lasts long

Elk antlers

Haha oh I know this so well. We have a choc lab. We've been through every toy, antler and bone - even the "tiger tuff" ones. The best ones that last are the cow hooves. She also loves the braided bully sticks but can go through one of those in less than an hour.

And those bully sticks get expensive!

We had a lab who destroyed things, and some friends gave us supposedly "indestructible" toys made of woven nylon. We sent the friends the videos of the first one, which lived about 8 minutes after coming out of the package.

I second the antlers suggestion. They are expensive but last well.

Elk antlers are the best we've found for our destructo-dog. (50lb lab mix) He is still a chewer but not as obsessive as when he was a baby. He is a little over 2 now.
