Thoughts on Dr. Hill @ Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin?

Anonymous
Hi,

I've seen Dr. Hill at his Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin practice a couple of times for prior gyno issues and he was thoughtful, patient and easy to talk to. Now I'm into my TTC phase of life and considering a doctor for OB work. Has anyone used this practice and/or Dr. Hill specifically? Thoughts?

Thank you!

Do a search in the expectant moms threads for RHJN and you will get tons of feedback. I cycled through all of them in my second pregnancy except for Dr. Johnson and liked every doctor but one. I particularly love Dr. Loveland and Dr. Jackson. My experiences in their offices have been great, but I only had to go downtown once and did everything else at the Chevy Chase office.

I've been with this practice for about 15 years, and Dr. Loveland has been my gyno much of that time - she's wonderful. When I had a miscarriage in the spring she did my D&C, and Dr. Abraham performed my surgery when I had an ectopic in fall. Hopefully you will never need these particular services but it's good to know that you're in capable hands. I received excellent care, both from the doctors and from the staff at Sibley.

He was talking of retirement when he did my son's circumcision in 2004 and when he assisted in my c section in 2006. Can't believe he's still practicing. He has a gentle bedside manner and a wealth of experience.

Wonderful doctor. Wealth of both compassion and experience. If I ever had a gyn or ob emergency, he's who I would want by my side.

Ask about their CS rates. They hover around 50%. Well over the national average of 30%, which ACOG said last week is too high.

Love Dr Hill and he was recommended to me by my fertility dr. Saw him for entire pregnancy but ended up delivered by Dr Reiter. He was fine but not as personable. Anyhow I saw dr hill a month ago for my annual exam and he said he isn't delivering anymore babies after June 30 this year.

Good grief. RHJN also have a very high number of older women and high risk patients which might account for the higher CS rate.
