Shouldn't the county standardize dissemination of pool letters and scores?

I don't want to clutter up any of the other threads, but I know FCPS staff read here.

In the future, I hope FCPS standardizes the mailing date for pool letters and scores, and requires either mailing OR sending home in the backpack. It's ridiculous that different schools have different protocols, especially with this kind of information.

It is fine the way they do it.

You will get your scores and letters at the same time as everyone else at your school. If it wasn't for dcum you wouldn't even know when/how other schools get their scores.

I think doing it from a centralized district mail only increases the chance of errors and will slow the process down even more.

We are still getting the letters with well over a week to spare to complete the paperwork. The parent packet is not that extensive. One week-10 days is more than enough time.

I don't see the big deal. You sound a bit Tiger mom-ish.

Agree with PP. Please folks, perspective!

Agree with OP. FCPS needs standards in place, basic protocols, especially for something that many parents feel is important.

i agree with OP -- why should School A get theirs on Thurs. and School B gets theirs on Sat. and School C gets theirs on Monday?

Drop them at the same time.

Stop, please! Just because the handful of AAP-crazed parents on this board think getting all these scores is a priority, doesn't mean it should be one for the entire school system. You people need to get a life.

That is perfectly fine.

As long as the students at each school are getting their letters at the same time as their classmates, everything is fine.

There is no need to completely synchronize the schools. As long as the entire district receives their scores in the same general time frame, all is well.

It is the same general time frame-end of this week, beginning of next week. You are all crazy.

Yes, Friday in the backpack or Saturday or Monday in the mail is the same general time frame.

If you are that stressed, quite looking on dcum for when the other schools receive their letters.
