No, our child didn't attend last summer -- primarily because of scheduling logistics for our second child's camp. But the camp came highly recommended by several friends whose older children (1st grade +) attend every summer. We looked at it last summer because of the tennis offering for the younger kids. If I remember correctly tennis lessons start at age 3 1/2. I know that there is swimming as well, but I don't recall what age the lessons start.
I think Landon is the only camp around that has tennis and swimming for that age group. However if your primary goal is swimming, try Beauvoir (onsite pool), St. Pat's (uses pool across the street at GWU) or NPS (uses pool down street at AU). Our kids enjoyed swimming at Beauvoir, but not so much at NPS because of the long walk to the pool. We haven't tried St. Pat's, but I hear the camp and swimming are great.
If your primary goal is tennis, try St. Albans. Unfortunately it's only a half day for a 5 year old, and swimming is only available to ages 7 and up. We will try a few weeks of tennis at St. Albans and a few weeks at Landon.
