Were you notified of Level II AAP

Anonymous
My DD (2nd grade) has Level II AAP listed on her report card, but we were never notified that she was receiving level II services. As far as I know, she is not being pulled out for any subjects, although other children in her class are. She got 99% on her NNAT (1st grade).

Does anyone know what this means?

We had that too listed on report card-not sure meaning. The only kids the AART has been working with are a small group doing higher level math, as far as I know now.

My DC was identified as Level II in 2nd grade also, never notified except for notation on report card. No weekly pull outs, was pulled out once or twice this spring, but I believe it was for the in-pool prep. Turns out the differentiation was taking place in the classroom, even though my DC claims to do the same thing every other student is doing. DC was eligible for center, so will be going there next year. My point is that Level II and III must differ between schools and AARTs........sometimes doing very little to nothing different than GE.

My kids are in Level III, nothing on the report card, no sort of notification. I only found out because was at the school one day and noticed my kid in the room where the pull-outs are done.

DS received Level 2 services, but no notation on report card. Only shows up in GRBS file.

Noted on report card and child told me she was pulled out 2x/week, once for language arts and once for math.

Second grader has level II services and is pulled out twice a week with four other kids in his class.

DS got level 2 services. I assume that means she is somewhat advanced compared to other kids.

I guess it depends on the school. We were notified in writing, and there was a form for us to sign and return saying whether or not we wanted our child to have those services (can't remember the exact wording). We got this both in K and 1st grade.
