Switching from AAP center back to Base school mid year?

Can you switch your child from an AAP center back to their base school for level IV services mid year? I am sure the policy is to wait per academic year, but are there exceptions and if so for what? Has anyone done this/familiar with others who have?

I don't see why they wouldn't allow that. They allow mid year changes back to Gen Ed. Just call the school.

I know others who have done this without problem.

Yes. I have also known people that have had kids move from Local Level IV to Level IV Center in January as well as vice versa.

OP here- thank you! Why do they make it sound so final that you must make your decision by x date? Anyway- thank you very much!

Probably because they are trying to better plan how many students will be attending schools so that those principals can better hire/place teachers in classrooms.
