small dog vent: brings in dead things!! is this normal?

| My small dog is like a cat. He goes out in our wooded yard (fenced) and comes back with dead "treasures" -- field mice, a bird. My large dogs never did this. It is repulsive! Is this normal for some breeds or will he outgrow it? Ours is a spaniel (king charles cavalier). |

| Some dogs do this. Not sure what to tell you. Just toss the "treasures." |

| Look up the "KCC" job - I thought it was "to guard kings" or something like that? Anyway, they may have ratter tendencies. Which means YUCK for you. |
