Interview attire - definitely a suit?

i'm interviewing for an attorney job (not a a firm) and i'm reconsidering whether a should wear a suit? Jackets don't look the best on me, but i have a great dress that I feel awesome in and look better in, too. But should i wear a suit no matter what?

I normally wear a fancy dress and a suit jacket to interview. I hate suits with a passion.

I would err on the side of caution and go with the suit.
