Gentlemen: Blondes vs. Brunettes

Anonymous
I prefer: thick, dark brunette or black hair with light (blue or green) eyes.

What I seem to attract: thin haired blondes.

That's #1 for me too. Followed by other brunettes. Dark brown preferred, but not totally black.

Blonde hair usually has no body. Plus, I just don't like the color.

Definitely get more compliments from both men and women when I'm some (vague) shade of blond.

Plus, blondes have more fun!

I have had the same experience. (also chemically enhanced)

You have to have a georgous face to pull off brown. Blond kind of washes you out and distracts from your features. This is why women go lighter as they age.

I think this is part of why I have a preference for brunettes. I have noticed that if you are blonde you will get attention just for having your hair that color. If you are brunette, you can't really rely on the crutch, so I think it kind of self selects out for the really attractive girls.

I'd say these responses are 95% from women... I have never heard a man complain about the volume or thickness of my blonde hair. On the contrary.

Same here. Blonde or light brown hair is very "boyish" to me. Does nothing. Zip. Nada. Darker features on men just seem more manly/masculine and sexy.

I think dark hair with light eyes is a fairly universal thing that people desire.

I had to choose between an amazing guy with blonde hair, and a mediocre guy with brown hair and the most gorgeous light blue eyes. Of course, brown hair won hands down. It was no contest.

i assume you are referring to me - 1740 here. Definitely a guy and its a preference. I'm not going to comment on it though because it isn't a big deal, just what i would prefer ceteris paribus.

Lol what does that have to to with my experience?

Btw as a blonde I prefer darker hair in general and have never dated a man with blonde hair.

It's funny though how many female brunettes have extensively commented on this thread...

Lol. What does your experience have to do with this thread in which people are invited to discuss their preference?

You can't just disregard the answers because you dont like them and/or no one has ever told you this to your face. That's why this is an anonymous forum.

I didn't disregard, I commented. But note: OP wanted men's opinion anyway.

Are we a bit defensive?

LOL! Hilarious. I'm not the one who came on to accuse 90% of the responses from being from women. I would say that's kind of the defintion of defensiveness, in my book

But the majority of answers ARE from women in this thread, sweetie.

It's all good, I'll do what they say blondes do best: have some fun (elsewhere)

Huh...you must be on a different thread than me. I have seen a TON of male comments on here. Definitely the majority of comments.

But anyway, bye!

Oh who the fuck cares. There are beautiful blondes. Beautiful brunettes. And redheads! What about the redheads? I tried to go red but it looked terrible on me... But I digress... Can't we all just get along?
