About 50% of my 16 yo olds friends, admittedly she’s in a mixed gender large friend group id probably call “fast”.
The kids (not seeing any difference between boys and girls here) who are dating are serial daters, who always have someone or potential someone’s in the hopper. The other half either feign disinterest (anxiety?), actual disinterest, or just can’t quite blend their romantic prospects with their own ability to get with that person. By that I mean they are picky, and most of the kids who are dating are either very forward or not very particular. |
