It is fishy! This Rochelle, (and I highly doubt it's her real name), is enjoying the fame and attention just a little too much! And why the hell is this former FBI guy being interviewed from a truck?? I don't doubt that Jared is a pedophile, but these so called whistle blowers are the most sketchy supposed witnesses I've ever seen. I agree completely. I’m watching it now and I don’t believe her motives at all. I think she continued talking to him because she was curious and interested and liked his attention. She was a negligent mother and this was about her career. She’s not believable, as far as her motives

I have to agree with previous post - Rochelle lacks credibility. First of all if it is illegal to tape phone conversations in her state she cant continue to tape as an agent of law enforcement. Her whole connection with the FBI very suspect. I suspect she engaged in conversation or did something, beyond taping phone conversations, that caused the FBI concern. That was why she “had” to work with them - likely to prove she wasn’t involved somehow. Also - really meet in dark area to give fbi tapes. This is not Mission Impossible. It wreaks of more involvement than she is admitting. And while I agree, a grown man saying middle schoolers are hot is inappropriate, she jumps right to conclusion he is a pedophile? I don’t know.

And she meets him in hotel rooms, sits next to him on bed, sorry her relationship with Jared went farther than she disclosed.

I’m not saying she was involved in pedophilia but she was involved with Jared more deeply than she admits

Her interaction with FBI - I call bullshit. I suspect fbi didn’t comment because there was a whole lot more involved.

In the end Jared is where he deserves to be. But I’m not convinced Rochelle is the complete hero she is making herself out to be.

I do not know what it is, perhaps not just one thing, but Rochelle Herman does not seem credible. The way she spoke during the Max special. Her self loathing demeanor. It is an aura about her that she is not the saint she's pretending to be. Deflecting to gain her 15 minutes of fame. Don't get me wrong, Jared is a sicko, but she was not the best person to make the focal point of the 2023 documentary, IMHO.

I agree also. There's something that's not being told about her and Jared's relationship. In many of the recordings, he appears to almost be going along with her guidance on what he thinks she wants him to saythin, for her benefit- like he thought she was into it.
I too think he's a sick person, but she was telling him she would make her children's friends available to him but when it came to her own children she suddenly backs down? I find it hard to believe she was doing this entirely for "the children". It goes without saying that her children's friends were never going to be at a party for him, but if you can discuss someone else's children and how you're going to dress them and prepare them for him, why can't you do it about your own children if that's the focus of your investigation? She was willing to talk about other people's children in that manner and felt that it was okay. It's just really really odd!
