I saw the title and was planning to say “give up and drive to New Haven”, but I see that others have beaten me to it!
And once you get to New Haven: Modern > Sally’s > Bar > Pepe’s |
+1 |
| Ernesto's in north end and Santarpios in eastie |
| Umberto's in north end is also really good, thick crust. They sell out every day before dinner |
I lived directly across the street from Regina’s when I first graduated from college! Paid $450 a month in a 4th floor walk up. |

OP - Thanks to all who have submitted suggestions. Looking forward to trying all and to visiting New Haven suggestions. |
| Otto! In Brookline. T Anthony’s. Also Brookline. Santarpios east Boston. Frank pepe chestnut hill mall. You’re welcome. |
Also umbertos in north end but you can only get it at lunch. |

Friends just went, said it is still awesome. |

Haha maybe not the best but iconic. |
| I sometimes like the style of pizza overflowing with gooey cheese that seems to be popular with lots of others (Regina's is a good example), but my all time favorites in the Boston area are Area Four in Cambridge and Stoked in Brookline. I also love Pepe's but have only been to the New Haven location. Otto is good too but I don't like how their crust is so thin that it gets soggy in the middle, and I usually do build your own there because most of their topping combinations are a little weird. |
| Ernesto's for NY style |
East Boston |
| I love Galleria Umberto in the North End or Regina's!! |
