DH's bday in a couple weeks and we are both trying to lose weight. We would like a suggestion for healthy meal. No too oily, vegetarian friendly, not just cheese.
Thanks for any ideas!

Anything middle eastern. Hummus is very low fat as are many of the other dishes as well.

tahini (sesame paste that goes in hummos) is high in fat but it's good fat

middle eastern food is healthy in general however

sushi would also be a good choice

A sashimi based Japanese meal can feel decadent while still being calorie conscious.

Everyone seems to recommend seasons 52 but the Menlo online has no nutritional info. Does the menu in person list all that?

Maybe I'm failing to understand the question? Almost anyplace can be healthy if you make good choices.

Sunflower Cafe in Falls Church. It's not chic looking, but has a great vibe and delicious vegetarian meals. Lots of faux meats and Asian vegetable dishes.

Also, Farmers, Fishers and Bakers in Georgetown has a great vegetarian menu. Plus the 8 buck salad menu items are amazing.
