Senior Living/Assisted Living experience in Springfield Burke Area - looking for info

Does anyone have any experience with Heatherwood, Aarondale (both owned by the same company) and Sunrise in Springfield? At this point I don't think I need to plan for dementia/memory care, but who knows what the future holds.

I am expecting that we need assisted living but an option with senior living with the ability to purchase the additional assistance might work too (I think Heatherwood might offer that - I am waiting on them to contact me). I am hoping to keep her somewhere close to Springfield since I have small children and work FT.

We also looked at Manchester Lakes Senior Apts (in Alexandria) and they are very nice but I think she needs to be somewhere where she can get assistance if needed nor transtion to a higher level of care and they don't have that option.

Any advice, recommendations, warning are appreciated.

A friend's parents moved to Greenspring and her father had dementia. THey had a very good experience. Ther are several couples from our Congregation there too.
