Only wear real jewelry at 50?

With exception to upscale costume jewelry, I am thinking only real jewels- that is what I can ford anyway.

I am with you all the way -- if only I could remember where I left my real diamond studs.

I totally mix it up. I wear only real earrings because otherwise my ears get irritated. But I've got plenty of costume necklaces, most of it from the JCrew outlet. I have real pearl and gold necklaces but they look a bit old fashioned.

I've never been a fan of "art" jewelry at any age. Those cutesy faces with hair made from earring wire? It seems to work for some, though, including a lot of the 50+ women in my office.

Wear what appeals to you. Sometimes I go classic. Sometimes I am more whimsical.

I have a great pair of handcuff earrings I bought at the spy museum - always fun to see which men notice and why - HA!

I don't wear jewelry. Problem solved!

I mix it up and I love jewelry -- nothing cutesy for me either OP...I like classic stuff.

Wear what you want. My favorite piece in the world is a sea glass necklace my son gave me in beautiful greens. The expensive stuff sits in a drawer.
