half asian half white baby- what agency

Has anyone adopted a half asian (preferably chinese) half white baby? if so what agency or route did you use/ take?

In regards to what agency - none or any is the best answer.

Your request is so specific as to be met with resistance from any agency you encounter. Not to mention rare in terms of placement.

Why so specific?

I'm Eurasian, from a European mother and Asian father.
Is it that you want the child to look like your biological baby?

Given the luck of the genetic draw, you will likely not get much of a resemblance. I take after my father, and during my childhood, people would not believe my mother and I were related by blood. In those benighted times in Europe, they took her for the nanny... poor mum.

You will probably have to go abroad to some parts of Russia, Kazakhstan or China. Your best bet is to use a surrogate if you want to be that specific.

If you are talking about adopting domestically - you need to consider the fact that in many placements the birth mother chooses the adoptive family. So your chances of specifying only an Asian/Caucasian mixed child and actually being picked by a birth mother are extremely remote. The poster who recommended international adoption (russia, Kaz, china) is correct - that is probably your best bet.

My husband and I have been waiting to adopt for a year now and he is Chinese and I am Caucasian. In that year I have not seen one Chinese/Caucasian baby, we are open to many different races. Anyhow Asian babies are rare in the USA. The families of the BF help raise the baby. Also when an agency says they have an Asian child it usually is a very small amount like a Pacific Islander.
