Daycare named in kid left at park post

I think this post is treading on dangerous and libel grounds. The OP mentions that she thinks a daycare, which she names, left a kid at a park. She names the daycare without any proof but just because it is close to the park. A post like this can ruin a business.

I'll keep an eye on the thread but for the moment, I think it is pretty clear that it is only the OP's best guess that it was the daycare she named.

Not sure what the fuss is about since that is the center... It is in the news.

On the date that the original post in this thread was posted, it hadn't been in the news and wasn't confirmed. The news actually credited DCUM as the source of their report.

As an administrator of this site, how do you feel about this (the fact that DCUM was on the news, and that NBC credits DCUM as the source)? Do you appreciate the exposure? I think it's neat, but I wonder if you would have preferred not to have your website mentioned on the news.

Still, a libel suit wouldn't go very far because the rumor was true.
