Diamond Elem/Fields Road Elem

Does anyone have any personal experience with either of these two elementary schools in Montgomery County? We are considering homes in both areas. I have looked at test scores and read the few reviews that were on Great Schools but was hoping to get additional thoughts from anyone with personal experience. Thank you!

I would not call it a "rough" area but it sure is not Bethesda. Many Hispanics and some blacks.

Diamond is a great school with fabulous teachers. Teachers are creative and go above and beyond for their students.

I have heard great reports about Diamond too..though my children are not there.

Yes, there are Hispanic and African-American people in Gaithersburg. Which is not Bethesda.

OP, these two schools are located in the "nicer" areas of Gburg. My nieces go to Diamond and knowing their parents, it must be a great school.
