Hello! I was wondering whether anyone on the group has positive (or negative) comments regarding summer camps at Burgundy Farm and St. Stephens and St. Agnes. We've heard high praise for the Congressional day camp and looking for similar experiences at camps in further east (Old Town/Mount Vernon or the Mall/Capitol Hill areas) other than the Smithsonian. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
We live in Alexandria and send our oldest to Congressional. They have bus routes right in to Alexandria which make it very easy for us. I think last summer pickup was 730 and drop off was like 5:00 PM so worked great with my work schedule.
DD went to SSSAS camp for years. She really liked it and we were happy
My children have gone to camp at both SSSAS and Browne Academy. Both are fun, but Browne Academy's camp is much more organized, have a pool on campus with swim lessons and has much more of a community (within camp, not Alexandria) feel. They have the Browne Derby (competition among campers) and big show at endof summer for parents which is really nice.
