Naples, Florida - fun things for families?

Anonymous
We are booking a condo down in Naples this spring and I'm wondering about fun things to do with kids ages 5 and 3 in town and nearby, besides the beach. Looking online it seems like Tin City and a nature trip to Keewaydin Island would be fun. Can anyone share suggestions on things to do, or family friendly restaurants you have tried?

Would also love to find a playground near a few shops where Daddy could watch them for a little while Maybe there is a cafe on 5th where we could go after window shopping, just to soak up the atmosphere?

Naples botanical garden has a great children's garden with a fountain kids can play in (bring a suit or a change of clothes). Naples Zoo is small but quite nice, and Corkscrew Nature Sanctuary is also good (it's a bit of a drive to get there). The Naples Pier ( a short distance away from the main shopping area) is fun for kids; you can watch people fishing and see lots of pelicans, and sometimes dolphins.
