aquatic sport camp at downtown DC YMCA--is it swimming lessons?

Has anyone done the aquatic swim camp at the YMCA? We want our 5 year old to learn to swim, but the description makes it sound like this camp is about sports (water polo, kite boarding), not learning to swim. Do the kids get swimming lessons?
