| My DS is turning five years old, and I want to get him started in some classes after school. Do you have any top picks from your experience? We have tried Coach John for soccer and Music Together in the past, and are up for trying something new. Does anyone have a favorite guitar teacher for a five year old? Or a lacrosse teacher? Or arts class? I would LOVE to hear your recommendations as I am feeling overwhelmed trying to find some neat classes for DS. Thoughts? |
| sports are the most popular. Most soccer leagues start at age 5. |
| Soccer or T-Ball, karate, or an art class, or a science class. My son wants to take a pottery class. I would just make sure the class is meant for 5 year olds. |

Hi Michelle from musiKids here
We have a new drumming class for 5 year olds if he enjoyed his Music Together classes and wants to stick with music. It meets Thursday afternoons at 4:15. Please contact me for more info 301-215-7946 Thanks! Michelle |
| Not sure where you are but we love Imagination Stage in Bethesda. Seems to be a good mix of types of classes for boys and girls. |

My son is 6 and in the past year he's enjoyed swimming, soccer and TKD. All one at a time, though!!! Don't schedule more than 1-2 things for him right now.
We take swim classes through Fairfax County parks and rec now (winter). Their classes are great and at many different levels. Soccer league was in the fall through McLean Youth Soccer and was also great. Jhoon Rhee has locations in Arlington and Falls Church, they have a great knee-high ninjas program. |
