Driving from MD to Brooklyn?

What should I expect driving from DC to Brooklyn? I'm not a super-confident city driver but with a GPS I feel invincible.  We'd be attending an event at a local college and staying in a hotel.

| Be Aggresive B-E- A-G-G-R-E-S-I-V-E. Once you are there park your car, walk or use the subway. It always takes a moment to get my bearings driving, riding other's bumbers, stopping quickly, pulling in front of others, honking your horn. I'm much happier when I'm out of the car. |
