Airplane seating when travelling with a baby - update

I am the OP of the thread sometime back asking whether to request bulkhead or not. We are back from our trip and thought I should report my experience.
As I mentioned in my old thread, we got a row close to the bathrooms. However when we got to the airport, the tkt agent gave us the bulkhead row on the first leg of our flight, which was 12 hrs. It was AWESOME!! We purchased a seat for the baby too. We installed the carseat in the window seat and my tall dh was in the aisle seat and could extend his legs under the curtain to the back of the business class. He was not in anyone's way and he was very happy. We spread out a blanket on the floor for a couple of hours and put the DC there and I sat down with him to play. I saw that the parents in the other two bulkhead rows did the same. Bassinet was a little small for DC but since they sleep a little curled up anyways, he did sleep in it for a good time. I would definitely recommend the bulkhead row if you can get it. We requested it on the flight back and got it. Good flight again.
As a side note, I packed three of his favorite toys in my carry-on but he loved the water cups, bottles and the in-flight magazine the best to play with and spent most of his waking hrs happily playing with them.
