Hmmm, her dress is very American. I would never wear her dress. It’s not my style. With that said, I think it’s hysterical how worked up DC-area women get over her fashion choices. Like I’m always here for the comments! Sanchez does her own thing! She never cosplays “old money” aesthetic, which is ubiquitous here in DC. Sanchez has an in your face Hollywood (and I don’t mean old Hollywood!!) style. |
I like her for the things she is not:
Delicate Sad Demure Deferential Ethereal Thin She looks a little nuts with all the surgery and that’s a lot of boob. But she comes across as authentically herself, weirdly. Which is something I really like. |
No she doesn’t. We all don’t need to be drones. How boring! She does what she wants. She doesn’t need your approval, nor anyone in DC. |
It’s kind of refreshing seeing someone so authentically being themselves and not caring what others think. Her style is not my style but I admire her for being her. |
Amen! I’m so tired of the DC/Chevy Chase fake women. |
It's possible to be real and authentic to yourself while also dressing appropriately for the occasion. |
+1 I absolutely would not expect her to wear some conservative, covered up, wallflower dress to something like this. But there are lots of sexy, modern, look-at-me dresses she could have worn that didn't cross the line into "I'm wearing frederiks of Hollywood lingerie to a white house dinner because my boyfriend is a billionaire and no one is going to stop me." I also find the idea of someone with huge fake boobs and 10 gallons of filler injected into her face "real and authentic" pretty hilarious. She's in her 50s now, how "real and authentic" is all that going to look in 10 years? Obviously it's her body and she can do what she wants, but the idea that she's more authentic than other women just because she hasn't thought through how all the foreign bodies in her body are going to migrate and age is laughable. |
They *actually* look the way DJT imagines he and Melania look. |
But you’re trying to dress her in a style that isn’t her. Nothing authentic about that. |
No, most of us are not. How would lining the corset in that dress make it "not her style"? Most people are not demanding she show up in some mumsy, shapeless, high neck dress. Its totally fine that she gravitates toward tight and revealing. But there are limits. If she wore a string bikini to the White House, would you applaud her fir being authentically herself? Because that's definitely a Lauren Sanchez look. But it's deeply inappropriate for the venue and even she knows that. She could have worn the exact same dress but had it lined and maybe yanked the neckline up an inch or two, and it would still have been her style (and yes, people would still have hated it, because her style is tacky AF) but I'd be fine with it. I think she took it too far, and I think she did it on purpose out of a sense of entitlement, not because it's absolutely impossible for her to wear something more appropriate to the setting without betraying her "personal style." She is NOT that important but she sure as hell wants to be. It's like someone who wears white to a wedding just because someone told them not to and then claims it's all they could find. |
People like her because she’s authentic?
She’s changed every feature on her face with plastic surgery. She’s had plastic surgery on multiple body parts. Lots of people do that, but they are not being “authentic.” They are changing themselves into someone different because they think their real selves aren’t good enough. |
My dress would definitely cover my boobs and not contain any corset material! My favorite was the Japanese First Lady’s purple gown. I would wear something like that. |
Yeaaaah how is any of this original? She is selling fake sexiness to attract wealthy mates. It’s literally the oldest profession in the world. |

+1 she is going to have to keep up the sexed up sexbot sexy senior citizen game a long, long time. If people think that is authentic and fabulous, that’s very scary. |
