White pants that don't show your undergarments...

Anonymous
Looking for a pair of nice white pants to wear with tunics, etc. Problem is they always seem to show through. Can anyone recommend some nice looking ones that are a bit dressier and don't show the goods.

It's not the pants so much as the underwear. You have to find flesh-colored, not-see-through undies.

You should look at suit/trouser pants rather than chinos/linen/more casual pants - anything lined will be less likely to show. HOWEVER (big however), I still find that I need to wear nude undergarments to be comfortable.

Look for lined pants, that will help. Or just pants made out of thicker material. Agree that you must wear nude undies and a thong! Also, I've found that I always end up having the pockets removed on white pants (if there) bc the pockets themselves show through the pants too much.

I have a pair from several years ago from Banana Republic that I wear, so can't recommend anything now but the bottom line is that it just depends on the fabric of each particular pant. You have to try on in person to see if they work.

It's both the underwear and the pants. Yes, a flesh tone of underwear that matches your skintone. But also, buying quality white pants makes a diff so looking at higher price points will give you better options. At higher prices, the fabric is a much better quality.

Black undergarments go under white clothing. Write it down, take a picture. Many women try that "flesh tone" stuff and you can still see it.
