Do you think wide leg pants will replace straight let jeans this summer?

| I've been looking at spring/summer styles and there are lots of wide leg pants options. Love them! I'm into that whole Garbo/K. Hepburn high waisted trouser style. Anyone else? |

| Thank God. I like wide leg pants and they're so much easier to wear. I have thunder thighs and look like an idiot in skinny jeans. Wide leg pants are actually flattering and emphasize an hourglass figure. |

| ^^(OP) I've seen lots of women wearing skinny jeans (which is what I originally meant and I'm glad you understood) who shouldn't. My waist has been MIA since LO was born. Wide leg pants also hide that I essentially have no hips. In style or not, I'm going to get a couple pair and hope it catches on. |

It's in style if it makes you look your best. Never squeeze (or float around in) a style that doesn't help you "flaunt it."

| I found a couple great pairs of wide leg linen pants through Poetry and Wrap London. I find they work really well on my body. |

| Wide leg is definitely in right now and for the spring - it is so much more flattering than any other style. I could never do the skinny jeans and I am not even overweight. It is such a horrible look unless you wear a long sweater and long boots. |

Agree with you, OP. Love that classic Garbo/Hepburn look. Sadly, they are as unflattering on me as skinny jeans.  I will enjoy seeing them on others, though. I've always thought there is something trashy looking about skinny jeans on anyone older than teenagers/college students.

wide legs feel awesome in summer bc they are so much cooler in the heat. they are definitely in this year, you just need to make sure the hem length is correct--they need to be as long as possible w/ o walking on them. if they are short your legs will look short.
although i have found that my wide legs that are hemmed long for flats look cool with a high wedge--although the shoe is part exposed, they look very 70s and it is flattering. |

I haven't seen them with 34" inseam. I just wanted to say that with your height, you'd look awesome in them. Hope you find them. |
