Washington Conservatory of Music class for 1-2 year olds

Hi moms of toddlers,

I am so excited about an age-specific music class designed for 1-2 year olds offered by The Washington Conservatory of Music. Unfortunately, the Conservatory is not going to offer this music class this Spring unless I am able to recruit 3 other students to join my daughter and me (4 students total are needed). The class is lead by a Washington Conservatory of Music teacher and held at Glen Echo Park on MacArthur Blvd. The class description reads: "A gentle introduction to music for child and caregiver. Nurture a love of music through movement and singing. Introduction of tempo, pitch and rhythm in music of many lands and times." The class was originally scheduled for 9am on Saturday mornings, but I was able to convince the Conservatory to move the class to 11am to accommodate those of us whose toddlers still take a morning nap. Note: this is not a Music Together class for 0-5 year olds; this is a Conservatory class specifically designed for 1-2 year olds.

Here are the details:
1. Saturday Morning Music Time (Ages 1–2)
2. Mar 19 - May 14, No class Apr 23
3. 11–11:45am
4. Teacher: Sarah Bright
5. 8 sessions. $174 (plus $12 registration fee for Glen Echo Park)
6. Location: Glen Echo Park on MacArthur Blvd.

I really appreciate the Conservatory's willingness to let me try to find other students, so if you would be interested in joining the class, please let me know. Also, if you know of any other little ones who might be interested, I'll be happy to contact their moms and dads as well.
