Flight to Denver - typical cost?

Going to a wedding in CO in June and the flights seem expensive - $460 round-trip non-stop from all the area airports (BWI/IAD/National)

Does that seem about right? Should I wait for them to maybe go down?

I just bought tickets on Frontier for spring break for $400. You might be able to get them on SW for slightly less.

there used to be quite a lot of variation - anywhere from $240-500. Nowdays i'm happy if we can get tickets under $400. We only fly direct though. good luck!

FYI - Fronteir is a nightmare on the DC to DIA leg (but it's one of the only games in town for direct). Several times, they've split my husband, son and I up with all of us in different rows, etc despite selecting seats when placing order. They can't confirm seats for you over the phone - it's a hassle! as much as i'd like to outsource my 2year old to sit in a separate row, i doutbt the other passengers would be thrilled! DIA to DCA is not a problem.
