| It's not pretty but when I get them I reinforce them with electrical tape since they always fray in the same spot. Same with laptop chargers, I reinforce them where they bend before you plug it in. |

Target has little rubber spiral things that theoretically should help the fraying. I just had to replace my macbook charger and added one of these, so time will tell. Package of six in assorted colors found in the Dollar Spot section for $3. Also, if the cord does began to show sign of wear, I have added Sugru moldable glue (like rubber clay that hardens) to salvage them. |
