Where to buy a "beach bike" for my 12 yr old?

OP here - I didn't realize CityBikes sold cruisers now! Last time I was in there (admittedly a couple of years ago), they did not.
I think as long as the bike is not too heavy, it should be OK for a hilly neighborhood. I mean, why not? I have an old fashioned Dutch "granny" bike, it weighs a ton, and I still ride it on hills (although not ideal) - it's just harder work, not impossible to ride or anything. |
