The Walking Dead.... Jumped the Shark?

I thought it was a little far fetched to believe that a biter could sneak up on someone like that. Don't they make those gurgling sounds?

Maybe he was just engrossed in looking at the pictures and had gone somewhere in his mind that was cut off from time and reality.

Wondering why his deceased wife wasn't one of the ones who visited with him.

Yes, and they usually have a limb dragging along. (I guess, he noticed the walker in the one bedroom but didn't realize the bathroom opened up between the two rooms, but still, moan, gurgle, drag, moan, gurgle, drag.....)

They should have stayed and picked over those houses. If they had been secured until recently there would have been all kinds of stuff.

I have been watching since day one and we canceled the recordings yesterday. I was SO BORED with last season - and have yet to really care for any of the new characters they have brought on.

My 14 year old is highly annoyed that they all don't walk around with armless zombies on leashes and/or don't cover themselves in zombie blood to walk more freely.

I thought the hallucinating scene talking to the dead people went on too long and took away from the seriousness and momentum of the episode. Hope this isn't the way the rest of the season will go because we will also delete the series from our TiVo.

I'm right there with your 14 year old. They should also know by now that no one ever should go into an unsecured area unaccompanied.

Did he have a wife? Maybe you're thinking of Karen from the jail?

I agree this episode was disappointing, but mainly because of the loss of Tyreese. There sure seems to be a one-in, one-out policy for black characters on this show, which is insane.

Otherwise, I liked the episode. I really thought they were going to just reinforce the gated neighborhood and live there, at least overnight. I didn't really get all the body parts outside the wall? How would that scenario even happen? Anyway, it seems like they could have made a go of it.

+1. There was no explanation for the scattered body parts. Guess the writers were too enamoured with the dead people reunion to bother.

It jumped the shark after season 2.

They need to come up either some kind of ending for the series and end it.

not according to the vast growing number of viewers and recording breaking season this far

I am a new fan of the series, binged watched it all last year... you guys aren't remembering earlier seasons, the artsy style in terms of shot selection and editing choices is not new and as a whole I felt like Tyrese's death was done far better than any other character in while... it was beautiful and very sad, and says so much about what happens to people who maintain hope in their reality...

I think the explanation for the body parts will be coming in future episodes, aka Negan.

I am thinking the collected torsos (they fell out of the pick up truck) are used for some non-walking Walker mote. Toss a bunch in a pit around your house & no one is making it in.
