Why are there so many celebrity couples who are "engaged" for years and years?

I get the Brad & Angelina non-marriage. They never said they wanted to anyway. But it's Jennifer Hudson I dont get. Nobody is that damn busy. I have a friend who has been engaged for 5 years. I dont understand it especially when the couple makes a big deal of making an engagement announcement.

I would assume that in some cases, a significantly higher earner may not be so anxious to entangle their finances with a significantly lower earner. I'd be uncomfortable with the idea that someone might (even partially) be with me for a potential payoff.

I find myself wondering if Jennifer Aniston will really ever marry this Justin guy.

Rumor with her is that she's the holdout and there are prenup issues

I think Jennifer Aniston is afraid to marry Justin Theroux.

Maybe she is afraid he will make a movie and leave her for his younger and more beautiful co-star, thus humiliating her in front of the world just like her ex-husband did ten yrs. ago.

Even though no one actually admitted that is what happened, EVERYONE knows that is what happened. I mean look at Angelina Jolie. It's obvious she wanted Brad Pitt and even though she knew he was a married man, she didn't care. She wanted him and knowing she was the most beautiful woman on the planet, she knew she could easily have him over any other woman. And she was right.

Yes, of course. Angelina is a witch sorceress who has the magical ability to make any man swoon and break their marriage vows. The witch! Brad the innocent, was seduced and had no mental, emotional, or physical will power when he broke HIS VOWS to be with Angelina.

I recall them saying that they would t get married until gay marriage was legal everywhere. Or maybe just in CA.
