Can the parents ask for their in-pool child's GBRS from AART?

Actually this happens all the time. You all know how many students a teacher has in hit/her classroom right? They can't get to know all of them perfectly by January. And unfortunately many students are understood imperfectly. I have heard the first hand story more than once of families with children in classrooms where teachers did not even realize how high of reader the child was. One teacher described "odd" mumbling behavior to a friend of mine about her son in K while holding a book. My friend had to tell her he was READING. Sound out words and reading! I am not joking.

I am not surprised by the other person's experience with her teacher and I am a teacher.
