Depends on the type of job you are looking for and the job fair.
Most in DC are a waste because it is all federal/contractors. Positions are filled through networking or based on if your resume can help bring in more contracts. I received a couple of call backs, but to do work in my old career field and I was moving into a completely different career field. |

If the job fairs are a waste of time, why do they exist? Good PR for the companies/recruiters?
Those of us actively and seriously pursuing employment want to use our time wisely. I'm glad I haven't taken the time to go to any. |
