Any experience with federal BCBS insurance?

I can't comment on Rockville specifically, but as a doctor in DC and a DC resident with federal BCBS, I can tell you that there are no good (or very few) internists, pediatricians, or psychiatrists in NW or Bethesda that accept BCBS any longer (unless you want to deal with the headaches of G'town or GW). Its the worst for MDs and they can't sustain a practice with their poor reimbursements. United seems bad to another poster, but they have the best reimbursements in the area so more doctors take it. Anyway, now I pick the doctors that I want for my family and send into BCBS for reimbursement (generally get back about 30-50%).
