This is absurd.

My DH also doesn't like the taste of mint. I see no reason to insist on something for DS that DH also doesn't like.

Oh good lord, you all are insufferable. A grown man?

You seem very reactive. Grown men must like mint?

Seems like grown men can like what they can afford.

Don't engage with sanctimommy.

Good point!

I think all the Crest kids toothpastes are non-minty. And Sensodyne is much less minty than other toothpastes.

I know you said no mint, but if all else fails, try Crest cool mint gel (blue color gel) It's got a pleasant minty flavor (to me)

My daughter like crest kids strawberry. I buy packs of three from Amazon.

I can’t stand mint toothpaste. Toms of Maine cinnamon clove was an absolute game changer for me. I no longer dread teeth brushing!

PS I use the Tom’s with fluoride.

The you seem reactive, triggered, seek therapy, tell me yadda yadda without… is so trite. I mean, it’s you who is defensive with that, it has no meaning.

OP here. Thank you for all of the recommendations. We’re trying the cinnamon Crest. DH and I share our mint blast toothpaste so two tubes for three people isn’t too bad!

This site can be so helpful and ridiculous at the same time. The fact that someone started a judgmental argument over toothpaste flavor is amazing! Pick your battles, people!

Close-Up. It’s cinnamon.

Why are you picking a battle, then when telling others to?

My kids won’t use any flavors they deem too “spicy” so both mint and cinnamon are out. They like the hismile toothpastes but they are a bit more than I would usually spend on a toothpaste, though. Also , most toothpastes contain the same amount of fluoride(Sodium Fluoride 0.243% (0.15% W/V Fluoride Ion) whether it’s kids or adults unless it’s a specialty or prescription toothpaste. I always used the rest of my kids rejected toothpastes so I always checked the fluoride amount.
