Hair salon recommendations in McLean/Tysons?

How much are people paying these days? I always wonder if the $120 I pay in Fairfax is normal or high.

What are you getting done for $120? A hair cut?

I highly recommend Celia's Salon. She's over on McArthur Blvd. in DC just a hop skip and jump from Tysons/McLean. she's amazing and great at haircuts and color!

Jimena Beauty Center is great. I go to Jenny and she does a wonderful job. The photos online are not accurate. The owner Jimena updated everything. Very clean.

I see a different stylist at Dolce Vita. It’s a nice salon and doesn’t seem like outrageous prices. (I usually pay $120 for a cut and blow dry.)

You need to get outside McLean/Tysons to find hair salons with slightly reasonable prices.

If you can make your way down 123 - check out Sundown and Rise Up in Vienna.

I don't think you'll find a good cut in McLean under $100

Expensive. But if Anne at Bloom does your hair you will leave looking perfect.

Sassoon. Can’t beat them.

I've been twice and felt disappointed both times. I purposefully went there looking for a precision geometric cut each time, and was talked out of it and left looking like every other boring 40-something professional in the DMV each time. Not worth it.
