Toby Keith has died

Ugh, I’m sorry to hear this. I didn’t listen to his music, but even so his name is so familiar in music and pop culture. Toby Keith is a big name! Wishing his family all the best.

What I didn't love was his leading the charge against the Dixie Chicks when they were banished from country music. I always wanted to see him live but couldn't bring myself. But, I did respect that he was his own unique person who made wonderful music and I shed a tear this morning listening to "Whose that man running my life". Hoping he found his perfect bar wherever he is.

48 hour rule fool

Overruled. The positives outweigh the criticism.

I remember when he was first diagnosed. It was in the press way back when.

I somehow got on some Facebook feed that has been giving me Toby Keith updates during the past year. Even though I wasn't a fan. I guess that will be over now.

I can’t believe how rich he was. How was he worth $400 million bucks? All of restaurants shuttered.

+1 And from back in the day when people actually bought albums.

What happened to the restaurants?

They were owned and ran a restaurant group. Keith didn't actually own them (or at least not for the past decade).

He lasted a pretty long time with stomach cancer, he was diagnosed quite a while ago.

Cute but no. Go listen to his other songs. He had such talent. His daughter is also a signer/song writer.
