How old are you and what ethnicity, op?

I’m Gen X and to school with a Greek Katina and Indian Jasmina. No clue if we pronounced it correctly, but everyone called her Jazz-me-nah and she mostly went by Jazz.

What about Amira or Calliope?

Karina? Knew a girl from Brazil with that name.

I like Jacinda. Guess that could qualify as a Joss.

Anyway I don’t like names that end in A so there’s your challenge should you choose to accept it

Um. Sweetie? You are misspelling both of those names. Don’t do that to your child.

When I was a kid, I thought Katenka was the most beautiful name in the world.

I was also a fan of Elena and Yolanda.

I'm no longer a fan of fancy names that aren't from my ethnicity.

I don't think Katina is a great name. And Jasmina is basically a stripper name, Might as well call her Destiny or Crystal.

Rethink. The kid has to live with this forever.
