Who is ordering the McDonalds triple cheeseburger? How does it stay on the menu?

They don't have a triple cheeseburger on the menu OP stop making things up.

Double quarter pounder is way more food than a triple cheeseburger, the regular patties are enough smaller that even with an extra one it's like 2/3 of the calories of a double quarter pounder.

Several of my step brother's friends and my SB. They are all 21-22 and not at all overweight. They can easily eat a triple, fries, and share nuggets.

I eat low carb and will grab a triple cheeseburger no ketchup no bun, if I am out and about & in a pinch. I eat it with a fork on a bed of lettuce

This post is exactly what's wrong with American diets.

+1

It doesn't exactly taste like a burger but it is good in its own way. It might be the pickles and mustard. I can imagine ordering a triple if I was starving.

That may be it, pickles and mustard, I like to remove the bottom bun and place a few french fries between the top bun and the burger... it makes a tasty little meal.

Honestly McDonalds burgers of any variety are totally fine to eat here and there IMHO. It’s the accompanying fries and tub of Coke that are the problem.

If we stop at McDonalds on a road trip, I order a double cheeseburger and a water. It’s fine.

I'm an older guy (in my 50s) and I sometimes need to order fast food because my only time for a meal is in my car.

But I get two McDoubles (not only lower carbs with only one bun, but one less slice of cheese than the double cheeseburger). I get it with two bags of apple slices instead of fries and a large unsweetened iced tea (0 calories and no artificial sweetener) instead of the Coke or Diet Coke.

McDonald's has a two-fer that makes this way cheaper than the Big Mac or Quarterpounder (or worse the double Quarterpounder). Two McDoubles for $3.99 (originally $3, then $3.50, now $4, but still a better deal than about anything else on their menu).

When Wendy's introduced the triple burger way back when it was a strategy to make the double burger seem like a middle ground and increase orders of double burgers. I wasn't aware McD had a triple burger but perhaps it's the same strategy.

Remember that a McDonald's "burger" is a "junior" size burger (1/10 lb, 1.6oz), and a "quarter pound" patty is 4.25oz. So a triple is still smaller than a 1/3 lb (5.3oz)

The extra cheese is the grossest part.

As someone who regularly orders triple cheeseburger he's not, just ask for it. If you go into the McDonald's kiosk and go to into the sandwiches tap there is a triple cheeseburger option. You can also go into it and customize the burger, so you can also add more patties and cheese if you want to. If you request it and it's not unreasonable they'll do it.

I rarely eat fast food and probably haven’t had a McDonald’s burger in about five years. I know they’re kind of gross, but for nostalgia, a Mickey D’s cheeseburger sounds pretty good. I also rarely drink soda, but do like fountain soda, especially McDonald’s.
