Anyone watch the Jared form subway special?

Because they were filming the video portion of his appearance on her radio/video blog out of Sarasota at a middle school, as they tended to do because of all of his work with children, and he apparently leaned over and whispered in her ear that he thought middle school girls were hot.

PP with the synopsis. I forgot to mention that the reason the sting operation with the fake birthday party never happened is because his schedule changed and the FBI said they couldn't get their act together in time to make it work for when he could make it to down, so they called it off. So this all just continues into episode three and I just can't.....

He just felt comfortable enough to say that shit to a woman he didn’t know well?

I must have been living under a rock… did not know the Subway guy was a child molester. Read through his Wiki page and, holy moly! Surprised Subway has not been successfully sued.

I've watched the first few episodes, not the whole series, so take that as a caveat. I simply don't find Rochelle Herman credible. Of course I believe Jared was a pedophile and the tapes are valid evidence of what he said, but her whole backstory of her decision to personally investigate him because one day he told her he found middle school girls hot and "her soul was scorched" so she started recording their phone conversations and trying to get him to open up about his attraction to kids...And then the FBI FORCED HER, yes they FORCED her to be part of an investigation. It just doesn't add up. Herman, in my opinion, was probably a co-defendant. Her story is just fishy.

His business partner and his WIFE?!?! They were abusing her kids! How could a mother do this?!

Wth how do you get that she is a codefendent? What did she do exactly to deserve such an accusation?

I don’t think you read that correctly. The “his” in that sentence isn’t Jared. It’s another guy.

Perhaps she exercised poor judgment at times, but “fishy” seems a bit strong.

+1
I think as a reporter, she started "reporting" and using those tactics and backed right into almost being charged with a few felonies. But I agree something feels off. Why would the FBI string her along that badly and put her in danger? And they declined to participate.

But any times the tapes went near her children, you can hear her clam up, and refuse to actually answer his questions. So I don't think she's in on it in the way PP is suggesting. But damn did she get in over her head.

Her kids essentially want nothing to do with her, so there's something there.

Yes, that’s what I said—the business partner and his (meaning the business partner’s) wife were abusing her kids (the business partner’s step kids). There was evidence that the wife (of the business partner) wanted to have sex with her own kids 😱

He was given the Subway gig BECAUSE his kind knew what he was. He made child rape tapes and he trafficked children to the wealthy.
His real name is not Jared Fogle. He did not lose weight eating Subway. I doubt he even went to college.
He is not and has never been married.
The lies need to stop.
Child predators run this world. They need to be exterminated.

Are you off your meds buddy?

This is a person who thinks Hillary Clinton sex trafficked children through the nonexistent basement of a pizza place. Don’t bother engaging.

Can anyone figure out why the reporter’s daughter won’t speak to her anymore? Why did this change the way she viewed her mom as a mother?

Does she think her mom liked talking to Jared? Did Rochelle actually talk about her own kids more than the documentary showed?

The two daughters of the woman who married Russell Taylor, Jared's business partner, told a shocking story as well. Apparently their mother went from being a strict Christian mother to a permissive, sex crazed, substance abusing lousy parent when she married Russell. She and Russell partied, drank, did drugs and included the two young teens in these activities while also being very inappropriately open about sex with them. That part of the Jared story is pretty bizarre too. Authorities found a lot of the evidence against Taylor and Jared in a search of Taylor's house and computer.

His wife is a teacher. They are trained to spot this. She must have known way earlier than his conviction. Stayed for money?
