Harvey Spector was an amazing character!! Completely unlikeable but too charismatic to took away. Now HE was hot.
And yea Gina Torres was amazing too. The insipid redhead with the weak chin, Mike Ross with the beady eyes and weak chin, the weaselly guy and cheap tacky MM were all instantly forgettable. And NO trash bags, we are not racist for disliking MM, it’s called having an opinion and deleting every entry that mentions her only makes you look mental. Thanks |

It’s not that good. Macht was one of the best things about it. It’s cheap and corny in terms of writing and the sound (lots of swelling music to explain what should be emotional etc) but Macht’s got some charm, as does the Jessica Pearson character. Hey Marklefans — Gina Torres is a WOC who was good on the show, unlike the tacky, cheesing nonentity MM. Since Torres can actually act, her character was spun off, not written out. It’s sort of like The Practice, but far dumber and generally several cuts below in terms of acting. Cornball, where wiggle skirts and cleavage are normal for a Big Lawish, sophisticated firm. Only Gina Torres escapes with any dignity. |

I am watching the show for the first time, and sign me up as a Louis Litt fan. I like the whole cast but he is the most human of the characters, for sure. |

You and I have very similar taste in shows - and Suits is a lot more boring than any of them. But - first time watching - I am finding it a very pleasant show to unwind to right before I go to sleep. Like it's interesting enough to keep me watching, but boring enough to let my mind drift into slumber. |

I really liked the show and she was just a byproduct on it, not a star. Gabriel Macht was sensational, such a good actor and so much charisma. Why can’t anyone discuss a topic that includes MM without it being censored and outright deleted?? |

These posts criticize her, and they are rather bizarrely cruel and passionate criticisms of a performance in a USA procedural from a decade ago!: 20:02 - MM is a heinous actress- utterly unconvincing and incompetent. 21:34 - the weaselly guy and cheap tacky MM were all instantly forgettable. Gina Torres has been on 911 Lone Star the past couple of seasons. Not a main character but pretty heavily featured.
I just looked at her wikipedia page and wow has she ever done a lot of TV over the years. I also didn't realize she had been married to Laurence Fishburne for 16 years! |
