I don't know that I would be dealing with teething again! Bleh!
So the baby molar is rocking back and forth (sideways) and she's in pain. I can see the other molar coming in. Besides giving her ibuprofen, she would like the tooth out. Should we have the dentist pull it or can I do it? It makes me a bit faint to think of it, but like with a younger child, can you grasp the tooth with a clean washcloth and twist/pull it out? Or is this a bad idea? I would vastly prefer not to have to do it but I want to know if it's safe to do and if so, how? Thanks in advance! |
| I have no idea about molars, but my DC has had 2 teeth pulled by a dentist, and I highly recommend it. Oddly enough, it has not made her scared of dentists in any way, and after the first one was pulled, she asked to go back and have the second one pulled. |
| Our dentist said that the more the kid can wiggle it, the faster it will come out. Is that an option? |
| OP here. I think we may need to just go to a dentist today because she's got a school visit tomorrow. She's so distracted by it! |
